Macintosh:
Commonly referred to as "Macs," these delicious eating apples are America's #1 snack.

Cortland:
This apple is great for pies because it remains whole when cooked.

Granny Smith:
This West Coast Apple is not commonly found in Maine and is a great cooking tool.

Golden Delicious:
The name speaks for itself: Golden & Delicious. OHF uses these to make their famous turnovers.

Blue Hubbard Squash

Macoun:
The most sought after apple in the orchard, this crisp apple is a treat to bite into.

Gravenstein:
As the one of the earliest to ripen, this apple starts the U-Pick season at OHF in early August.

Pumpkins

Wolf River:
The largest apple we grow, these tart fruits are used for cooking - but make a nice display too.

Winesap:
This apple is great with wine and cheese or in a salad and also tends to have a long shelf life.

Raspberries

Vistabella:
Best used in apple sauce, this apple ripens in early July - so stop by early if it is your favorite!

Spartan:
Ripening in early October this sweet apple of Canadian origin is wonderful for desserts.

Pears

Gala:
Another dessert apple ripening in October, the Gala is best used quickly as the taste tends to fade.

Ginger Gold:
This apple, often confused with the Golden Delicious ripens in early September.

Decorative Gourds

Red Delicious:
This sweet American apple is good for kabobs, salads, and lunch boxes.

Empire:
This is a nice mid-sized eating apple with great crunch.
